DAWASCO is a Public Corporation which was established to provide water and sewerage services to the City of Dar es Salaam and some parts of Coast Region. It has vacancies which has to be filled immediately. Applications are now invited from suitable candidates to fill the various positions below. Job Title: Driver
Report to: Transport Officer
Work Stations: Dar es Salaam (14 posts),
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Driving cars and trucks as well as machines and provide transport to staff when in need
2. Keep vehicles logbook and all accident records pertaining to assigned vehicle.
3. Transporting parcels from head office to outsiders and other Area offices with dispatch.
4. Ensure that assigned vehicles is clean and in good working condition.
5. Carrying out any other related 'duties as may be assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience: Holder of Secondary School Certificate with passes in English with a class "C" Clean driving license, training as a mechanic will be an added advantage. The candidate should have undergone training with NIT or VETA plus 2years experience in driving
